Ophelia the Oracle

Yes I did it...I did a Sonic Fan Character! XDDDD

Well it was more of a challenge for me. I figured I'm going to be taking commissions...what if someone asked me to draw a Sonic character then what? I'm screwed! So I decided to challenge myself and boy was it a challenge! They anatomy is something I'm NOT used to but I like how this came out! <3

Ophelia was born in a small village outside of Greece many thousands of years ago. Her and her sister Alcina were close seeing as they are close in age. One day the tiny mountain village hit hard times and Ophelia and Alcina left to find the Oracle to see what they should do in order to make it through the winter. Their journey was a long one as they made their way to Delphi. No one had left the village for many years and everyone looked the same. They were all white with one yellow eye and one blue eye. So naturally Ophelia thought everyone would look like them. They were wrong. When they arrived at Delphi the people of the bustling city believed they were sent from Zeus himself. Bewildered the girls made their way to the Oracle. Upon their arrival the Oracle told them both many good things would come their way. The girls were smiled at one another and as they left they were approached by some men who offered them to be the new Oracles. They were a little scared as they looked at one another but the promise of great riches was too much to pass up. Once they assumed the roles as Oracles people from all over Greece would come to listen to their wisdom. Soon they had more money than they needed and soon began giving it away and sending great amounts home. But sadly they could not return home for Oracles were not allowed to leave Delphi. After some years passed they were assigned new tasks. They were to protect scrolls that spoke of the Chaos Emeralds. They marveled at the beauty of the gems and wondered what powers they held. They were then given Gems that held a mysterious power. They were told to never let them go but for what reason they were never told. As the years passed both girls found they never aged a single day. Soon people they knew died but they never did and they realized that they were to watch the scrolls forever. They often pondered if they should take the gems off and just go the way of the world but ultimately decided it was best to keep watch over the scrolls. Delphi finally fell to the wastes and every so often people tell of tales of seeing two girls looking out from a top of that mountain singing ancient songs as if calling to the land to relieve their suffering.
